This event is a fantastic opportunity for our CYPIC community to connect in person at the SEC in Glasgow, to share learning and innovative ideas on how we can collectively make the greatest impact on outcomes for children and families across Scotland.
The theme of the day will be how we work together to apply focus, connection and method where it is most needed to improve outcomes for babies, children, young people and families. We will explore key leverage points that exist in the system, based on current evidence, national outcomes and local priorities.
The programme will include dynamic keynote speakers and a chance to ask your burning questions to a panel of system leaders as well as to meet and learn from likeminded colleagues from across Scotland. In line with our national priorities, there will be workshops focussed on The Promise, Whole Family Wellbeing Funding and Early Language Development. In parallel there will be a workshop around our shared method, which will go back to QI basics to help you to break through the implementation challenge.
We are also planning an alumni event on the afternoon of Monday 27 November for those who have been through a cohort of ScIL or SCLIP, or are actively involved in using QI methodology on a regular basis. This event aims to bring our alumni community together to further develop the connections and skills of its members. Through activity and input, we will spend an afternoon refreshing, reinvigorating and inspiring members to champion QI to benefit children and families across the length and breadth of Scotland.
Our last national conference took place at the SEC in Glasgow on Tuesday 15 November. It was great to see so many of our CYPIC community back together in person! This energising day was built around the theme Connect, Collaborate and Improve. You can view some of the resources from the event by following the link below.
