The National Improving Writing Programme aims to improve writing attainment in identified P4 and P5 classes with a view to building an infrastructure for sustainable spread beyond the initial programme timeline. The programme has been running for 3 years and has been implemented in 16 local authorities. 

We are supporting QI community building by helping set up and support a national improvement science network for staff working in the education sector.
