This session was led by Diana Beveridge, Head of CYPIC in Scottish Government, who shared how applying focus, connection and method can support improvement across all our work. Diana highlighted the importance of prevention and early intervention and shared the national change theory for early child development.
The session was supported by Jan Adair, CYPIC Improvement Advisor, who shared the example of the National Improving Writing Programme going from 'Small to All' for children across Scotland. This included key learning and reflections from Clare Bryden, Education Support Officer, and Laura Johnstone, Teacher, at Argyll and Bute Council.
